To begin with I feel that it is important to state that I have not, nor will I ever pay money to go see Jackass: The Movie. This means that I have not seen the film, and neither should you. Not that I am against the type of humor that the ‘actors’ use in the film (actually I am a big fan of sick and twisted humor), but I am against the making of a film that is nothing more than one stupid/dangerous stunt edited together without even a hint of a plot or message. Often documentaries are plot less, but at least there is a purpose to these documentaries beyond greed. What I guess I am trying to say is that Jackass: The Movie really isn’t a movie at all, which is the problem with it being at your local megaplex. Furthermore, it will probably make enough at the box office to generate a second and maybe even a third installment, which everyone should deplore. I am fine with there being a show on MTV for this crap, but don’t make people have to pay to go see it. These inane and insane stunts only belong in theaters as bloopers at the end of a film, which only lasts a few minutes, not for 80 minutes. This far surpasses my worst movie of all time, last years idiotic Freddy Got Fingered, which I also blame MTV for spawning since they are responsible for Tom Green (a Canadian comic that needs to be returned to sender). Furthermore, this might not be the worst film ever made, but it has to be in the top ten of the all-time stupidest films ever made for theaters (home movies don’t count). Well, enough of my ranting, I give Jackass: The Movie the lowest score possible of zero couches out of ten, that is basing things completely on the trailers, which are supposed to show the best parts of a movie.

Other crappy movies from the last few years that are far superior to Jackass: The Movie.
