Ya know, I think I may have mentioned it in previous reviews, but to just ensure that you all know, I have this little thing for Jennifer Love Hewitt (though I don't believe it is mutual). Anyway, I may have to end that (though she is still stunning) in favor of Amanda Peet (whose breasts you may have seen in The Whole Nine Yards). You see according to Whipped, Peet likes to put out, while Jennifer Love Hewitt never calls me (of course it would probably help if she actually knew who I was and had my phone number). So you see, it really is an easy choice. But I digress, this is not about me, but about the movie Whipped, staring Peet, Jonathan Abrahams, Zorie Barber, and Brian Van Holt. Those three guys are "scammers" out looking for cheap meaningless sex (aren't we all) with beautiful women in New York. We also have Eric (Judah Domke from Spanking the Monkey) who used to be one of the guys until he got married, but is now just this really annoying guy always trying to hang with the rest of the group. Van Holt plays Brad who is a stock broker and has all the looks. Barber plays Zeke, the artsy kung fu dude who is writing a screenplay. Finally, Abrahams is Jonathan the sensitive guy that masturbates all the time and lies about it. Enough about the main characters, and now on with the show. Eventually the three start seeing Peet and start to fall for her like none of the other women they have been with. Of course they don't know they are all seeing the same women until a little latter, which then causes a little tension between them (as you might imagine). Of course they all want to be the one she wants to be with, but none know who will be chosen as the one and only boyfriend to claim the Holy Grail (Peet in case you're not following along, kind of a metaphor thing I thought I'd try). Who wins, I won't tell, but just remember, turn about is fair game. Whipped is kind of like American Pie, but you need to double the raunchy-sex factor and add ten years to the cast members. In fact I thought I had a corner on this market with my old college TV show, Warped & Demented Comedy, but Whipped ranks right up there in the raunchy area. Also appearing in this fine example of what the Right Wing finds wrong with Hollywood are Callie Thorne, Peter Cohen, and Julia Thaxter-Gourlay with the voiceovers. I really enjoyed this film and found myself laughing a lot. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of nudity, specifically the lack of Amanda Peet naked. So in the very end I must rate Whipped, and so I will give it nine couches on the About-Movies.com rating. Remember guys, don't forget to drink pineapple juice, and I would recommend not leaving during the credits. That's a wrap (mmmm tastes like chicken).
