Dude, what ever happened to Beavis & Butthead? Cause they might want to file a lawsuit against the makers of Dude, Where's My Car? I suggest this since the humor level of the two are very similar. The problem really is that Beavis & Butthead was funny when I was under the age of 22 (though I still get a kick out of some of their stunts). That means that those people meeting this criteria loved this film and probably would give it nine couches if they worked for this web site. However no one working here is that young, so the misadventures of Jesse (Ashton Kutcher from That 70s Show and Reindeer Games) and Chester (Seann William Scott, American Pie) do not make for a totally excellent comedy. Yes I did laugh at most of their jokes, but there were a lot of jokes I found just too immature (which if you know me might seem impossible). Anyway, the movie has Chester & Jesse saying sweet and dude a lot as they travel around town trying to find Jesse's girl, oops I meant car (damn that old 80s song). See they need to get their anniversary presents for their girlfriends Wanda (Jennifer Garner) and Wilma (Marla Sokoloff) out of the car. But first they run into a very sexy Christie Boner (Kristy Swanson) whose last name is quite fitting. Christie helps to begin Jesse & Chester's trip back into memory lane that soon involves a strange geek cult, hot chicks in black leather, a pair of gay German guys, and a quest to find some weird and powerful space object that can destroy the universe. Others in this Danny Leiner directed film include Fabio, Brent Spiner (Star Trek: Insurrection), Hal Sparks, Andy Dick, Ryan Christian, David Herman, Turtle Lini, Charlie O'Connell, and John Toles-Bey to name a few. Dude, Where's My Car? Wasn't a horrible film, but it was a few less hot chicks away from being a horrible film. I give the movie four couches for the About-Movies.com rating based mainly on breasts, but wishing this would have been rated R instead of PG-13 so there could have been some nudity. Dude, goodbye.
